OTR Solutions
With a 4.7 star review rating by 813 customers via Google and an A rating from the Better Business Bureau, they are a very stout option for you and your operation. They are DAT’s factoring partner, and are most widely known for their true non-recourse factoring program for new and small carriers, as well as their fleet factoring program for mid to large sized carriers. They offer all of this with no credit checks, no minimum requirements, and no hidden fees.
The Good:
They work with all size companies and typically charge a 3% commission for their services. There are no charge backs to a clients account for late payments from customers, their program is very transparent with no hidden charges. Their overall mission is to create long lasting relationships with customers, which shines through with their strong reputation. They also offer an app for carriers to use which allows for documents to be scanned and submitted directly rather than emailing or faxing them. They also offer in-house credit checks and approvals, and have a 24 hour maximum payment time when invoices are submitted.
The Bad:
Although they work with all sizes of carriers, they typically charge 4% for smaller companies, such as 1-3 trucks. They do offer fuel advances, however there is a $200 fee to use them if you don’t factor all invoices through OTR. They also do not offer factoring for invoices that are over 90 days old.

Thunder Funding
With high reviews on Truckers Report and a 4.6 star rating on Google with 221 reviews their reputation flies high for a reason. They have an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau as well. They offer 90 day terms to their partners rather than most in the industry, who require a year long agreement. They have no setup fees, no processing fees, and no monthly minimums. With Thunder, you also receive a designated account manager, making sure your customer service experience is top notch.
The Good:
Their terms for partners stands out as a massive plus, 90 day contracts provide an excellent level of flexibility to customers if they feel unsatisfied with their service. That being said many reviews of Thunder sing praises of their excellent customer service and communication. Their rates for factoring typically costs less than 5% which depends a lot on your operation as to how good of a rate they can provide. All of their agreements are non-recourse by default, and they offer an in-house credit check for all shippers and brokers. They also have no minimum or maximum for the amount of invoices you can send their way.
The Bad:
Although they offer non-recourse factoring it is possible to have charge-backs due to short payments from damages/shortages/overages/etc. It’s possible that you would need to send in original paperwork depending on which brokers your operation uses, although it is a rarity.

ACS Factors
ACS has 5 star Google reviews and 4.6 stars on 47 reviews from trustpilot.com. They are a company that is focused on servicing smaller carriers, their preference being under $1 million monthly. Their true testament is the terms they offers; a month to month deal, no termination fee, no monthly minimums, no deposits or application fees, and the ability to talk with the owner/CEO if you so choose. It’s obvious they show incredible belief in being a top option in the space, and are eager to earn your business.
The Good:
They offer very competitive rates on factoring, it’s possible to have a 1.75% rate depending on your operation. Customers also report that they have excellent customer service as well as prompt payment. They offer a month to month contract which provides incredible flexibility for your operation; a true try it to buy it sales pitch about it, no frills. Furthermore, there are no termination fees or other fines for an exit. There are no minimum funding limitations attached to their contracts, even if you don’t use their service for a period of time. They also provide a fuel card if desired, which provides discounts throughout the country, along with in-house credit checks.
The Bad:
Bad things to say are very hard to come by, we think it’s very possible due to their incredibly flexible terms that other carriers who have had problems didn’t find it enough of a problem to leave a review for.
